Mechak; 12 ans
At the age of twelve, Mechak had never been to school. An orphan; Mechak was living with his Grandmother who sells home made sweeping brushes to survive from day to day.
ACDF identified Mechak in Lubumbashi through their outreach program. He was walking painfully and spending weeks without leaving the house.
An orthopedic brace now allows Mechak to walk without pain and he enjoys playing football at the ACDF-run center.
